Our story

Boudin and Beignets serves sweet and savory street food inspired by the streets of New Orleans.  Our name comes from the classic Cajun favorites, Boudin and Beignets that we feature daily.  We rotate other delicious Cajun specialties on our menu, including Po-Boys, Gumbo, blackened shrimp, poutine and crawfish etouffee.

Tom is a self-taught chef with Southern roots.  He has worked in barbeque shacks and operated restaurants in Louisiana and Texas.  Skilled in Cajun cuisine, his menu features Louisiana classics.  Tom first learned to cook growing up in a busy family of six kids.  As the youngest sibling, he learned to cook out of necessity (to eat) and cook for his older siblings.  Today, Tom shares his love of cooking with his friends and neighbors and two kids who love when daddy cooks.  When he is not in the kitchen, he is exploring the Colorado trails and lakes, or watching his favorite sports teams.

We’re bringing Cajun specialties from the streets of New Orleans to the city of Denver. Each of our menu items are from scratch and filled with the sights and delicious smells that you might find walking down Bourbon street on a busy day. If you’re craving a sweet treat, try our delicious beignets, fried and pillowy and topped with a blanket of sweet powder sugar. Or for a savory snack on the go share some boudin balls filled with everyday staples and dipped in our tangy Remoulade sauce, or grab a bowl of flavorful and spicy gumbo to warm your soul.

Don’t miss our Colorado food truck at a street, brewery or festival near you.  You can also book us for private catering for your unique party or corporate event.
